Social Responsibility

Coopbox's social responsibility is guided by the code of ethics of the CCPL Group. It is an official document that underscores the commitments and ethical responsibilities pertaining to management of the affairs and business undertaken by the company. It also governs the rights, duties and responsibilities that Coopbox explicitly undertakes in relation to those with whom it interacts during the performance of its activities.

For Coopbox, the environment, the people, the market and the communities to which it belongs are essential values to be safeguarded and enhanced through its policies. Thus social responsibility guides and inspires corporate conduct for sustainable development backed by certain cooperative principles:

Intergenerational continuity:
pursuit of a corporate policy based on long-term enhancement of the company's economic, human and professional heritage, able to guarantee, over time, the creation of value for the member enterprises and job opportunities for the employees;

Mutual benefit:
by promoting the cooperative model on a local, national and international scale;

Centrality of the human resource and work:
by creating a work environment able to enhance the contribution and potential of each individual, by employing and making the most of the new generations in the company, by disseminating the corporate know-how at all levels for the purpose of involving all the personnel in the development processes;

Innovation and quality:
by commitment to research and development activities focused on continual product and process innovation;

Diversity and global thinking:
by choosing to measure against new, national and international business and social stakeholders;

Local roots and development of local communities:
by maintaining a continuous dialogue with our stakeholders and endeavouring to develop the well-being of the community, also through strong commitment towards protecting and respecting the environment;

Solidarity:
being committed to improving social conditions, also on an international scale, and promoting activities of social-humanitarian importance;

Cultural commitment:
supporting the creation and continuance of local and national cultural initiatives;

Transparency and integrity:
ensuring that information concerning the social actions and business activities is accessible.
