Atmo-Pack
 
Atmopack is a modified atmosphere packaging system where the tray merely holds, protects and, if necessary, absorbs any liquid released by the food. The tray passes through a plastic tube with high barrier properties that closes around the tray to create a hermetic casing with excellent preserving properties.
The advantage of this system is the versatile choice of tray formats. However, greater investments are required in equipment and frequent controls are needed since the gas flushing system is less reliable than the Top Seal systems, which do not allow zero oxygen levels to be reached, an important feature for some foods.

Shelf life: up to 8/10 days for red meat
